All about TKM college of engineering

The course curriculum is designed by the college itself because of the autonomy status of the college so the exams, sem brakes, new advanced learning systems etc. are properly provided. In my course architecture there is a subject for structures, actually it's teaching method is not much good and it's only exam principles and not at all beneficial according to the curriculum as of now. So that should need a change but all other subjects are pretty good.

Internship is provided for architecture as well as bTech students. For architecture students the interships comes in 7th semester a total of six months will get for the students to work in a firm they wish. For bTech the internship opportunities is in every year but not that much effective for the students compared to the method followed by architecture department.

The placement is in the 7th semester and 6th semester. Actually the majority of students will get placed in bTech branches compared to architecture. The placement for bTech is actually good were the companies like Mahindra, BOSCH, L&T, TCS, Shobha realtoes etc. are doing the placement and above 70 percent students get placed every year in bTech. An avg pack of 4-6 lakhs and highest package was 34 LPA last year.

The tution fee for every year for architecture as well as bTech courses are Rs.9000. The fee is affordable and not that much high as it is a government controlled institution.The complete fee for architecture should comes under Rs.1.2L

The campus life is actually good.College fest usually comes in the month May. Verified artists are performing every year in proshows and good worshops, autoshows etc are there. Students engane in different cultural as well as educational clubs in different streams like NSS, ISTE, IEEE, ISME etc

The fees structure generally comes under Rs. 6000 per month. Non veg as well as veg food is provide for the students according to their preferences. The meal quality is not that much good and some issues were raised several times by the students last year regarding the quality of food. Now the quality of food is ok and not tyat much issues with the taste also.

The admission process is through the keam. For bTech admission you have to appear for keam exam and should get a rank below 6000 inorder to get in to TKM abd for architecture you want to apply in keam official website and should appear in NATA exam and the rank will be published by keam according to the NATA score and the 12th marks.

All of the classes have dedicated mentors and 4 academic advisors are for every batches including 2 seniors advisors. The faculties are good and much qualified enough and good support for the students from their side in academic activities as well as extra curricular activities.
