Likes

The faculty are very helpful and informative.
Also there is no club so no extra curricular activities so full focus on studies.

Dislikes

The campus size is soo small, and there is no canteen.
There is a faculty who will pull you towards him so be careful.
The tpo is only for name he doesn't do anything.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I would say is rather outdated and it needs some changes, and also it is not so vast I don't think anyone will be pressurized in the exams. And the teaching methods of the faculties are good the topics that they teach make sure to memorize them because that will be very helpful.

Placement Experience

The Training and Placement Officer dont do anything you have to be self aware. About your placement, they say that they placed them but in reality they were there hardowork so please do some grind in studies, if you work hard you will surely get placed somewhere.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees can be hiked anytime, ours hiked in the second semester don't know why. But the tution fee is you can afford. And if you can't you can get a scholarship from the Bengal government the condition is you have to be the resident of Bengal.

Campus Life

There are no clubs and social activities even the fest is rare, once a year, but if you get yourself in a hostel there are lots of events organized, and you can have fun at the hostel with your friends. And there is a library you can get your sem books from there but I don't think you will need it. And there is also ground where you can play any games there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good, not the facilities but the friends you will make and also u will get room service everyday, and there is mess so no need of taking tension of the food. The meal is overall good in senior messes but be aware in the junior mess my friends got food poisioning many times there.

Hostel Fee: INR 11000 per year

Admission

The admission process is simple you have to appear for West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam and them then you have to appear for counseling and if you cleared the cutoff, then you can go for documents verification and get there admission easily, the cutoff is not to high you can get there easily.

Faculty

The faculties are quite qualified and the knowledge base of all of them is good. They will provide you with everything you need for your semester exams, and also they will encourage you to do better. So listen to them if you find anything difficult feel free to approach them, they will surely help you out.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. MY PLAN AFTER GETTING THE DEGREE: After completing the degree my primary focus is to secure a jon through campus placement and gain practical knowledge. Along with working i will continuously work on my skills upgradation through certifications and training programs relevant to my field.

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Placement Experience:

Mainly mass recruiter companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys, cognizant comes here.Some top notch mncS like oracle,amazon, Microsoft also comes here .One senior of our previous batch got 1 cr Per annum in off campus way. Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.
