Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum that maitreyi follows Is the one given by Delhi University. BA hons Political science Almost covers all the relevant topics which are needed. The curriculum is really vast and we get to study seven Subject each semester, you get to choose one general Elective paper, one skill enhancement, One value additional course, You get a chance to choose between one language, And you get to study EVS in a alternative semester. The exams Occur every semester end, and the difficulty level is moderate. Most of the questions are PYQs only . it is not really tough to pass the exams. The teaching methods of the professors make it more easier because most of the questions are already discussed in the class.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is really affordable for the first year. The fees was 10,000 for the second year. It was 11,000. Also, economically weaker sections get a compensation and fees too. There are scholarships available For students who need a financial aid and are good academically. Delhi University also provides scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

Infrastructure of the college is really huge. It has a huge garden huge buildings. It is really well maintained flowers and trees all around the campus making it more beautiful. There are many clubs and societies in the college dramatic musical dance singing. There is also a hostel in the college Where students are selected marit wise. The atmosphere Of the college is really good and friendly. Girl support support each other. There are no cases of bullying. My overall experience in the last two years has really been great. The fest season is the best

Admission

I got admission through CUET exam. My score was 700 out of 800. to get a seat from general category is not really easy in the course. The CUET exam Is quite challenging and the application numbers were huge, so it is not really easy to get in Delhi University. The acceptance rate is really low. I was from general category, so I couldn't get any benefit of reservation, but there are good number of reservations for SC/St OBC and EWS. The cut-off from general category Has a huge difference. The CUET Exam only occurs once in a year, making it a bigger challenge for students to get into Delhi University. I think the frequency of the exam should be changed and there should be more seats for students.

Faculty

4

Okay, so the faculty of the college is really professional and qualified. Faculty belongs from good education Backgrounds, Probably from Central government colleges like Jawaharlal Nehru University or Delhi University itself. Almost all of them has a Phd degree too In their subject Which makes them capable of providing detail knowledge Of any topic. Talking about the student teacher ratio, there are almost 62 students in one class, making it easy for the professor to interact with everyone and teacher is really approachable. Almost all of the times. Teachers are modern. They understand student problem too. 80% of teachers are not really strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

I specifically chose Economics and history to study because I had an interest in both. Economics is pretty self explanatory, learning about how the world economy works is interesting. History on the other hand is interesting because you get to know how civilization and society developed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams
