Dislikes
- One thing which disheartened my heart immediately was the lack of good humanities courses in hrc as they only offer 3 Ba honours courses which is english history and philosophy and economics also yes.
- The attitude of non teaching staff is sometimes non bearable in college as they consider themselves to above everyone (except principal ofc:))
- Hansraj is famous in DU as being among the most conservative college…There are restrictions for almost everything in college…that is one of the major area they need to work on
Course Curriculum Overview
Philo honours is a very reputable course in any university if you are privileged enough to learn it from the Good professors which hansraj will offer you to the best. It teaches you the art of questioning everything and eventually enhances your critical analysis and sharp thinking about things and people.
Internships Opportunities
The internship cell of not only hansraj but whole of (good colleges) of delhi university is very active and works constantly to provide the kids of all 3 years of college good placement opportunity. The students need to take guidance from their seniors or people who have done internship before to not get misguided .
Placement Experience
Hansraj is best known for their good placement structure...The internship cell and the placement cell is very active in hansraj and offers numerous opportunities to candidates. The highest package of hrc in 38 LPA which is 3rd best in DU (after LSR and SRCC )
Fees and Financial Aid
Hansraj is among the costliest colleges of delhi university yet the fees here is just 24000 per annum which is nothing compared to what you have to pay in NLUs or IITs or the private colleges which can even force you to sell your land In just rupees 75000 you'll complete your graduation from among the most reputed college of not only DU but of whole India. There are many scholarships offered by The GOI but they are unfortunately not for everyone..Please do a thorough research before applying for any scholarship. Hansraj offers among the best placements in DU with the highest package of 38 LPA .
Campus Life
Like any other DU college hansraj is also best known for its ever happening social life and festivals . Starting from the month of march there happens "The ultimate fest season " ...Kids in DU die to attend fests of top colleges of DU recently nexus 24 of Venky college happened to where they invited one and only mohit chauhan . Akhil Sachdeva came to hansraj There is nothing like boredom in DU ,something will always happen.
Admission
One needs to appear for the CUET examination held once in a year by NTA .If I talk about DU specifically one needs to select a language which is mostly english and tbh among the easiest( as per cuet level ofc) 3 Domain subjects which is necessarily what you have studied in your class 12th .The subject selection varies according to different university.
Faculty
The Faculty of my course is very reputed and celebrated...They all are PHD scholars and have a constant urge to learn new things even from the students. The teachers are very helpful of philosophy department as they coordinate with the students constantly even if it's freshers or farewell preparations for the kids.

DELHI UNIVERSITY IS BEST KNOWN FOR THEIR EXPOSURE AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT WITH THE HELP OF SOCIETY AND CO CURRICULUM…amd that became my major reason for opting this instead of BHI
