Likes

Academically college is good and provide with all necessary knowledge.
Budget friendly and has same output as many expensive college.
Placement ratio is also good. In the end it all depends on you.

Dislikes

It is compromised with its location I would say.
The campus area is not do big as u expect it to be
No hostel facilities so u have to live in pg .

Course Curriculum Overview

I think they need to update thre course a bit and should bring more coding languages in first year....I feel makaut is little behind in this. Overall it's okay....but I think there need to be made a few changes

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is really affordable. For CSE aiml and it it's 6.25 lacs for four years. I don't think there are any scholarship opportunities but students from West Bengal may get some financial privileges. Actually all colleges in w.b is affordable.

Campus Life

Tbh college is compromised on infrastructure and campus. But there are club activities and mesmerizer which is the best I would say. Pls don't expect much on campus life.becoz it isn't so big at all. Overall it's okay.

Admission

You can enter through wbjee as well as jee mains. Cutoff varies a lot I would say. But if you are under 20k u r safe. I would say go for colleges like techno main and iem if u score good otherwise this can be your alternative

Faculty

Faculties are qualified here there is no doubt in that and are helpful there can be a language barrier tho but most of them teach in English so I didn't face any problems so far.personally I think they are good enough.

Placement Experience:

The Students here can apply for CDC Placements in Final Year and if I tell about B.Tech. Specifically then in 7th Semester of their course. Many prominent companies visit here for recruiting the brilliant minds like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, IBM, Texas Instruments, Tata Steel, L&T, Bajaj Auto, Flipkart, American Express, Infosys, Wipro, PwC....and many more. There isn't any data provided by our institute to us stating of the highest and average package by particular comapanies and the profiles offered. But I can tell you of my department's 2023-24 CDC Placement drive: We had the highest no. of offers that is 128. Highest offer made was 1.4Cr INR pa and Median and average package offered were 21-22 lakhs pa and 25-26 lakhs pa respectively. almost 87% students had got placed in the last placement season. The 2024-25 Placement season isn't over now, but till Dec 2 2024, again we had the highest no. of offers that is 20. If I talk about my future plans, I want to go into reasearch in VLSI Industry in future as the VLSI is Tech of the future.

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank.
