The college infrastructure is too good. The amenities includes AC classes, canteen, library, food outlets, auditorium, etc.

Dislikes

The college administration is relatively strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good, all the subjects necessary for future aspects are been taught but there are few subjects which are irrelevant but been taught the administration should look into it, but overall it's great.

Internships Opportunities

There is a seperate Internship Cell in the college which provides different internship opportunities to students. Students need to register in the cell to get updates regarding internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is fantastic. I am a part of the placement cell and I think I will be a good fit for this answer. The Average package is around 8LPA, Highest being 23 LPA for 2024 batch. Normally more consulting roles are offered to students in Tier 1 firms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it's an government college the fee is very nominal, it's only ?22000/year. There are scholarships which student can avail to finance their course fee. Students can also do internships through which they can finance their fee.

Campus Life

The overall experience in the campus is amazing, I was a part of multiple societies and I think societies are a great place to socialise with people. The infrastructure of hansraj is among the best of all colleges.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are decent. There are twin sharing rooms which are alloted to you based on your academic performance every year. After getting into hansraj you need to fill the hostel form separately. The mess food is also good, just make sure before taking hostel is that only Veg food is served.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process is Hansraj is through CUET-UG Entrace test. Students need to fill up the cuet and delhi university form separately. After filling the form the cutoffs are released. To get into Hansraj General students must focus on getting anytime above 770/800.

Faculty

The faculties are very interactive, even the batch students are very keen to learn. My interaction with teachers are regular. I would say the teaching is very good in the college but the teachers should try to replace the traditional learning process with modern process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Economics Hons can offer financial assistance and become great consultation too. So from Deloitte or the Big 4 many consultancy firms such as BCG and many more may not be that big but do come to our campus for recruitments.

Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc.
