Course Curriculum Overview

This course I chose is chemical engineering. It is a very easy and educational course. From this course placement opportunity become very much. From this course I can go also in core company and codding company.

There are so many core and coding companies they are offering very good internship opportunity and stipend. Companies like Reliance, pwc ,tcs, public sector like Iocl , wbsedcl , and many more companies

Placement Experience

7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies come like PWC , ZSI , TATA CONSULTANCY, REDBUS, PHYSICS WALLAH, etc.They recruit many students form our university. They offers very good salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

I already said that it is a very easy course and also very cheap course. Job opportunities are very much. Anyone can easily pass this course. I love this course very much. I also suggest to take this course.

Campus Life

My campus life is very much enjoyable. Half of the years are full of festival like freshers, sanaskriti, u turn, holi, areana . Sanskrit is our biggest annual cultural program. It is biggest in asia.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good. There is total 12 Hostel building. 7 boys 5 girls building. I live in Jadavpur University Main Hostel A1 block. It is the biggest and oldest Hostel campus. There are total 5 block in Jadavpur University Main Hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

The admission process is simple. You should pass the higher secondary exam or (10+2) equivalent exam. Then you have to pass west Bengal joint entrance examination. You should make a good rank.which is less than 2000.

Faculty

Faculty members are very qualified. They give lesson. They educate us very carefully. Their dedication are well done. They are very helpful. They are very lovely person. They always help us very much.

Interview Experience

I am now in second year . So basically I don't face any group discussion. But I heard very much about Group Discussion. Many seniors students told me about this. I am preparing for this type of group discussion.

IIT KGP is amazing!!

IIT Kharagpur : A very well executed institution which helps the students grow and excel in life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY - BE AMBITIOUS WITH A BIT OF THRILL.

Jadavpur University is one of the most renowned universities in India. I've applied in JNU but couldn't make it there as I didn't have enough preperation. JU conducts entrance exams where the questions are mostly subjective. You have to have 60% in your graduation to apply for admission test in JU. Jadavpur University a dream come true for a lower middle class student

After getting my WBJEE rank my first college allotted was Heritage Institute of Technology. After that I got Kalyani Government Engineering College and University of Calcutta respectively. But Jadavpur University was an obvious choice for me when I got admission into it during its decentralized counselling. In heritage I got Computer Science and Engineering where as in Kalyani I got electrical engineering and in University of Calcutta I got information technology. But all of this colleges placement is not compable with Jadavpur University Civil Engineering at all. Jadavpur University in terms of fees and placement is way ahead then any other colleges that comes under WBJEE. You have to score at least under 3000 rank to get your dream college that is Jadavpur University....Read More

A Brief Review of Jadavpur University , Kolkata

I tried to get admission to other colleges like IITs, NITs, BITS etc. I secured a rank of about 14k in JEE Advanced and 7k in JEE Mains but was not getting a suitable college+branch combination in the IITs and NITs. I secured a rank of 855 in WBJEE and easily got admission in the electrical department at JU. JU ranks 12 in engineering , 9 in universities and 17 in overall category as of NIRF 2024. It is also very good for placements and research opportunities .Also , fee structure is quite less and it is near my house , so was very suitable for me . The admission process was also a smooth one . We has to report at JU with necessary documents and we got a provisonal admission form . After successful fee payment , i got admitted in the electrical department of JU. Most students prefer the CSE or IT department due the high packages. The cutoff of CSE is 150 , IT is 400 , EE 1100 rank as of 2023 in JU based on WBJEE exam . So , it is quite competitive to get admission here....Read More
