What Students Say

Likes

Placement are good enough if you are hard working students.
Faculty teachers are good enough to teach , if we focus on class then no need to study from anywhere else.
Events are taking place every month , which makes college life enjoyable .

Dislikes

There is no Hostel in college , we had to stay outside by staying in PG/Mess
There is no such big playground in college .
There is no such big canteen in college , & there is no such great variety of food.

Course Curriculum Overview

College Curriculum is quite good , with mix blend of fun & Study. Different events takes place like cultural events of college , sports fest , departmental fest ,etc. All are running with regular classes. I will suggest that Teacher should interact more with students becaz some students are introvert so teacher should help them . Exams takes place at regular intervals & difficulty of questions in moderate

Internships Opportunities

Currently I am in 2nd year , so in 3rd year I will do internship & I will do internship in Google becaz it will be beneficial during placement & also Google will give Swags , tags & stipend upto 50k.So I will work for it.

Placement Experience

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placementd . Many companies recruit students from our college Like TCS,Amazon , Google , Flipkart , Cognizant,etc. TCS makes offer of 5-8lpa averagely. Highest package is 32lpa by TCS 50% students are placed in on-campus. My plan is getting placement from my college after getting degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is good when it comes to take degree from private colleges. Complete cost of B.Tech in CSE from my college is ?6,50,000 currently for 4 years. College provides scholarship yearly to those students who score great CGPAS.

Campus Life

Every month some fests take place . Like Tech fest(AVENIER) . Cultural fest, departmental fest . Lot's of books are available in college, but sometimes there is scarcity of books in time of need , no. Of students are more in compare to book .

Admission

You must be Maths & Science student for Engineering. Good marks in 12th & also in it's competitive exam is required for eligibility of this course. I found application form online & all other details online Difficulty level of entrence test is medium.

Faculty

Mostly Faculty members are Bengali & they speak Bengali Language mostly , but that's not big issue , and students concentrate on classes , so teacher - student interaction is quite good. They are well graduated from different IIT'S/NIT'S .I always interact with teachers by asking my doubts & they are helpful.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
