The quality of infrastructure that we have in our college is outstanding and the classes and the other things are arranged neat and clean
The crowd is very appropriate for students and there are verity of students activities like drama, sports, dance, events, exhibition and much more.
The college has best faculty from teachers to the normal staff members both of them are very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm pursuing BCom and i know most of the students are doing professional couses but if we only consider BCom they have good syllabus with autonomy which also helps us in practical office work. The exams are very hard compared to the other colleges because it makes our college unique and competitive.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell has very good connection with such a great companies like KPMG, ICICI, RELIANCE, HDFC and many more companies. The highest package the student had got was around 21 lac and the average package is around 4-6 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't provide any scholarship but it has different fees structure for obc, st, sc students. But the college provide the EMI facility to students for paying the annual fees. There is a good campus placement of our college and many students sit for it and get into big corporation.

Campus Life

The college has good campus for students and sitting area. The annual festival we have is kshitij which is the fastest growing festival in Asia and the people take participation in that event is phenomenal. We have a good library with AC and more than 1 lac+ books. We have connnection with clubs of mumbai like rotary Club and many other social group.

Admission

The college has normal admission process like any other college, but the cutoff is very high and the admission in junior college is based on the 10th boards percentage and the degree college admission is based on either 12th boards percentage or CET exams.

Faculty

I'm from commerce background and our teachers are highly educated from big universities and alot of teachers have a done the professional courses like CA, CS, MBA etc. If we talk about the student teacher ratio then it's gonna be 1 teacher for 10 students. The faculty ishis very helpful and the encourage students to chase big dreams.

I would rate the BBI course curriculum at Lala Lajpat Rai College as fairly relevant and moderately comprehensive. The focus on finance, banking, and insurance subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum gives a good theoretical base and helps in preparing for further studies like MBA, M.Com, or government exams. However, it lacks practical exposure, internships, and industry interaction, which could make it more job-oriented. Teaching methods can also improve by including case studies, field visits, and guest lectures.Exams are held twice a year (semester-wise) and include internals (25 marks) and externals (75 marks). They are moderately difficult manageable with regular studies.

Learning in a fun way

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.

Placement Experience:

Talking about campus placement, overall rating is Excellent. Some IT companies like TATA Consulatancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Sutherland, Eclerx. and banking companies includes ICICI AMC, ICICI Bank Pvt. Ltd., TATA AMC, used to visit college campus to conduct assessment round in college itself. Highest package was around 5 lakh per anum and average package was around 3 lakh per anum. I even got placed in TCS with 4.4 Lakh annual salary. Almost 70% of bachmates was placed with more than average package and there were good opportunity for science background also. After getting degree i worked for 1.5 years and now i'm going to persue my career in management roles.

The fees structure of SYBAF as follows Tution fees -10000,Library fees -600, Laboratory fees -1000, Gymkhana -400,other fees - 250,exam fees- 2606,other Activity fees -4000,E charges -1000 and many other charges are there.
