My honest review on my college .

Mechanical engineering is an evergreen branch. It has a very wide scope. It has various real life applications like automobiles, fluid flow, etc. The teaching methods of the faculties are amazing. They teach the concepts in a very amazing way.

The intership opportunity in our college is good but for research purpose only. The faculty provide you intership in various IIT which is useful for research purpose.Our college provide very less amount of tech intership to the students.But if anyone knows about coding language properly he/she will definitely get a internship.

The placement in my college is very good . Specially for mechanical engineer companies like BPCL (Government company) which offer government job to mechanical students on basis on their CGPA and interview.There is no need to clear gate exam to get into PSU job.

Fee structure of this college depends on the annual income of the students family. There are 3 categories- 1) annual income less than 1 lakh 2) annual income between 1 to 5 lakh 3) annual income greater than 5 lakh Student have to pay depending on the category in which they lie. There are various scholarships offered by the institute.

There are many clubs like SOME(society of mechanical engineering),TCA (team cultural Affairs), Robotics and many more.They encourage your passion like they give you the chance to show your potential.They offers some goodies to the participants.They goes to many colleges specially IIT to represent NIT Jalandhar.

Hostel facility is not so good .We can say food taste is ok type not delicious.For hostel registration they provide you link on their official website which is www.nitj.ac.in .Where you have to pay the hostel pay.After that you have to fill a Google form which will be provided by hostel clerk at the time when you reach there.

First you have to give jee mains exam. After that you will get percentile and rank in the jee main exam result. There are different cut off for different category students. If you clear the cut off then you will be eligible for josaa counselling. Then prepare a list of colleges where you want to get admission in the priority order. Then apply in josaa counselling. After that you will get the college which is best suited at your rank.

The faculty to student ratio is very good. Thus it helps the faculty as well as students to understand each other in a better way. All faculties are well qualified. Their teaching methods are also very amazing. We can interact with teacher whenever we need them.
