Course Curriculum Overview

Tge curriculum is up to date and is flexible for change.It prepares you for the greater world outside,only if you are willing to learn.The faculty should be more serious about the welfare of the students

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

There is not much placement opportunities in here,veryrare companies come for recruitment.Only the students who are in their final years are eligible for the placement round.Around 5-10 students get placed from a batch of 120 students.

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuition fee is around 10000 per year ,6675 for every semester to be particular.Hostel charges are excluded. There is no scope of scholarship here whatsoever but the authority can be friendly for financial aid.

Campus Life

There are many fests however, from freshers to farewell,the university organises a number of festivals.The classrooms are spacious but the infrastructure needs urgent attention,sports and extracurricular activities are given attention here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is poor.They are not cleaned and looked after properly, the food is edible,not upto the mark though. you need to pay hostel fees per month depending on the mess bill. The hostels are inside the campus

Admission

the admission was based on the scores of 10th and 12th and very high percentage was needed for admission.tge college had a merit list based on which students got chance in yhis institute. The timing of exams are very very frequent,exams are given by the faculty every other week.

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and it becomes difficult to communicate with the teachers. All of the professors are highly qualified though , they just are not supportive enough fr tge students .

Placement Experience:

In my University they provide us to seat for the interview of those recruiting companies after 3rd semester online so this is a great opportunity for us to have an experience event because if we read for 4 year course after 1 and half year only we are getting chance to say for the interview and the companies here comes for recruitment are very renowned companies companies like Flipkart Amazon Myntra and many others TCS consultancy they always to visit for recrating so I will suggest that the placement provide by the university is good and 75 to 80% of student getting successfully placed from the university into good companies and with an average salary of 6 lpa to 9lpa

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

All About Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (BCKV), main campus, Mohanpur, Nadia

Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate. A score above 95% in the board exam or crack the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam with a good depth of biology and chemistry for admission....Read More
