Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good but it can be better. Industry trends can be utilitiesed in the curriculum.Also more practical knowledge can be imparted through curriculum. Also labs can be made more equipped.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Being government college fee structure is affordable. Fees are not so high for diploma programs. Various government scholarships are available also scholarships from alumni for meritorious students are also available.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing. Something pr other os happening everyday om campusm.Campus is very vast and it starts in Matunga and terminate almost in Wadala. Various events like Tevhnovanza , Rangavardhan , Pratibimb take place every year.

Admission

No entrance exam is required for diploma programs.Admissoon is done on the basis of 10 standard percentage. Normal' cut-off for diploma in mechanical engineering lies between 88 to 94 % . Reservation facilities are available as per government norms.

Faculty

Faculties are excellent and have good hold over the subject. They have thorough knowledge of the topics. They are easily approachable for doubts. Faculties are undoubtedly helpful in nature. Also faculties are from reputed institutions.

The placement scene at sanjivani polytechnic actually pretty impressive.The college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to ensure that students get placed in top companies.Last year over 80 percent of our students got placed with some students landing packages upwards Rs 27 lakhs per annum. I was very curious to know about machine how it works and how they are made by a factory which is why I have chosen Mechanical engineering field. if it is about faculty ratio there was 1 teacher on 50 students including DIPLOMA, BE, MBA and ME. All the faculties were highly qualified all had master's degrees in their hand but there was a lack of teaching skills some faculties have knowledge but they do not know how to transfer knowledge in a simple way to students. in my opinion many there was a semester exam every six months and they used to be very strict with students at the time of the exam they did not give any freedom to students in the examination hall. about passing percentage, only 60% of students passed with all clear without any backlog.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. As IIST has a criteria that student should secure minimum 75% in board exams. IIST does not have 20%ile criteria where all iits,nits and gftis has....Read More

To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
