Campus location is in heart of north Delhi
It falls under university of Delhi which is prestigious on university list
The curriculum and pedagogy is amazing, and professors are highly intelligent

Dislikes

NoPlacement were provided or career guide was given
There is very few seats in hotel and it’s highly competitive
More and more career seminar and real based teaching can be done.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is lit outdated and it's basically theory based things to do with it. The books are pretty old printed. The teaching can be better as real life experience could be inserted. The exams are held twice in a year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is not that high but the competition is very high for the admission. There is no on campus job but there are different kind of scholarship available on the national scholarship portal and from the college side as well.

Campus Life

The campus is pretty good as there are variety of activities to do in the campus from exploring kamla nagar market to tom uncle maggi point. You can make good friends with people. The different societies and club keep you engaged. The fests are the best parts.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel are given on first come first basis , as there are limited seats in the hostel. The process is simple once you secure admission the fill the form for hostel and wait for the merit list of hostel.The room are okay without ac, the quality of food is fine but not too good as per government standards. In case someone dnt get hostel, they can opt for pg or flats in nearby locations which will cost 10-40k depending on the taste for a person.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The admission process at my time was pretty simple as all you have do it score good marks in class 12 and apply on du.ac.in for the pg courses. The college will release the cut off for best 4 subjects and if you clear that cut off, then simply go and sumbit your documents and it will be verified and then payment link for fee will be generated. Viola, after payment admission is secured.

Faculty

The faculty is highly supportive and one of the beat faculty for the political science program. The professors come from very diverse backgrounds and do help the students in each and every way possible in terms of professional and personal life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I kind of do not understand the point of studying ancient statecraft and political theory. As much as these subjects could be valued by some, in my opinion, I know that i'm NEVER going to have to use these topics in my daily life. So why make it such a big issue? I suppose they should focus more on topics like geopolitics, which would definitely affect our day to day life.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
