Entrance Preview

Got admission through CAT score and Goenka's internal exam. Scored 88 percentile in CAT and passed the internal exam and interview as well with a ranking of 101 among 800 students who took the exams.

Internships Opportunities

I did my research work from wipro,powergrid and supreme industries. Each company gave me a new exposure in terms of working quality,environment and other such factors. Stipend paid was around 25000.

Placement Experience

By the end of the session all students were successfully placed in companies like wipro,tcs, vyasa,ola cabs around 2 lakh p.a.

Placement Experience:

Everyone gets placed. All top consulting firms recruit in heavy numbers (MBBK, A&M, Accenture, ADL, Big 4, Boutique firms, etc.). Finance offers a wide variety of jobs and firms with the best firms like BoFa and JPMC also recruiting at obscenely high salaries. Top PEVC firms like A91 also come for recruitment. Marketing and Product Management also have all the top companies present (HUL, P&G, Reckitt, Loreal, Nestle, Dabur, Microsoft, Atlassian, Media.net, etc.). General Management also sees top firms like TAS, ABG, Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, etc. appear. Placement opportunities are aplenty and the salaries offered are the highest in India. Goenka college of commerce and business administration is the second best college in Kolkata and the best college under Calcutta University. Hence it has a brand value. Proud to be Goenkan

I got admission in Aliah University which is in New Town Kolkata I got rank 12. I applied in Shri Shikshathan College also and got admission in first list. I rejected both the colleges as Aliah University though it is a reputed college but the placement committee is not as good as Goenka College of commerce. I applied for BBA + MBA integrated program in Aliah University but I wanted to pursue BCom honours in accountancy and finance thus I rejected Aliah University. Shri shikshayatan college on the other hand is another reputed college in which I applied for bcom honours in accountancy and finance I rejected Shri shikshayatan college as no doubt Goenka College is way more better than Shree shikshayatan and Shri shikshayatan is comparatively very much expensive in comparison with goenka. Shri shikshayatan takes around 250000 tuition fee on the other hand Goenka College charges only 4090 rs for 4 years....Read More
