It's quiet and peace environment, it brings a kind of peace to the students in there chaotic college days
The professors here and the non teaching staff ready to help and of open minded nature

Dislikes

The political sway in the college, it is soo much that it hinders the happening of college events too

Course Curriculum Overview

Here I have faced some troubles as due to University rigidity I was not be able to opt a certain subject for my GE, a part from that the professors take minimum of 4 test and presentations during the session as part of assessment, it also help us to finish the syllabus more thoroughly and I specially like the one time semester end examination here

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees asked here is understandable and justified according to the facilities provided here and the level of infrastructure there is also availability of ECA quota which helps to bring students of other diversities to explore such reputed college and get associated with it

Campus Life

My overall experience of the college life is quite exciting till now, I am not a big fan of societies and clubs though they do let you grow more and take you out of your comfort zone but still not quite satisfactory,the social life is good here too

Admission

The admission process was CUET based a MCQ test and it was quite stressful as mistakes can lead to rejection of admission also the cut off is so high that you really need to grind your knucles hard to reach here but that is expected from such a well known college

I am a big fan of my professors and my faculty as they are the guiding hands helping us in this transition of school to college life, they have been very cooperative and at the same time firm too in order to make us into a an responsible and accountable adult

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Economics Hons can offer financial assistance and become great consultation too. So from Deloitte or the Big 4 many consultancy firms such as BCG and many more may not be that big but do come to our campus for recruitments.

Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc.
