Course Curriculum Overview
Overall the curriculum doesn't seem to too hecktic. Although would've been great if the syllabus was comple Before exam and not in a rush. A lot of the times exams are confusing because all professors have their own way of teaching and might differ from what actually is coming on exam. By the time students get used to the real paper, it's already too late. The timing of the exam is quite a headache for internals. Having two subjects in one day ends up in no sleep for 4 days straight, leading to sleep deprivation and therefore low performance. The timings for Finals is alright.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of internships are usually whatever is already presented inside. The college lot of them are from Schneider, Apple and Microsoft, which can be a good experience, but they aren't usually offered stipend. The projects are good enough, and the outcomes are mediocre.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. For mechanical engineering a lot of companies like Mahindra and Mercedes good companies do make offers and of course other companies for mechanical engineering. The highest average packages is not so great. It is usually on average 50 K per month percentage of students getting placements is alright, But a lot of them don't take the jobs cause the money is too less. I am planning on doing further study Probably M tech And getting my PhD
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is on average good enough for a private college. Teachers regularly give Scholarship information for students. The admission department also helps out for the process. The increase policy of tuition fee is alright not much to share there. Would've been great if they didn't ask for exam fees when so much fees is already taken. And buying lab books that they very obviously just printed that too not so clearly seems unnecessary.
Campus Life
Fests happen every now and then according to the seniors, but we haven't really experienced them. Library is great they have a lot of great books. It could have been a little bit bigger for during exams. It is a bit too full, but during regular days, the space is great and it's a great place to study. All classrooms have a projector and working fans. Involvement in sports is good. Most clubs are run by students. Most teachers do not interfere in club activities. A lot of them seem unamused.
Admission
Eligibility for the college was simple just like any other private colleges, you can ofcourse enter through Comeatk or KCET as we know, but entering through JEE is also possible. They all have certain Eligibility criteria and a consultation round is held. Management kota requires Preety much average marks in boards and any entrance results and good money. The admission office workers are very helpful, well most of them.
Other Applied Colleges
