I have done my ug in genetics so I took this course as it matched with the syllabus of csir net If studied properly and concepts are clear then it would really help to crack the entrance Prepare your notes thoroughly and study properly And if you fail in any subject then you would get the project that is provided by the department

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee for the first semester was around 15k and for second sem it was Rs 3200 And hostel fee is around 28k so around it would cost 50k for a year For the Kerala students there is a scholarship provided by Kerala based on their eligibility criteria and the first 3 rankholders would get scholarships

Campus Life

We have so many events going on in our campus and we have a very huge campus. We celebrate every festival here We have a big library which has good amount of reference books and one reading room which has centralized AC We have different sports events also like football matches, badminton etc

Hostel Facilities

Room is simple. We have 3 beds and 2 cupboards . We have to buy mattress on our own and we have water issues because of lack of automatic motor Mess food is not hygiene sometimes ..and the menu is quite boring also The fees is paid online from Sams portal after taking admission

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

You can get admission through cuet pg entrance. All the necessary information regarding the eligibility and fees is given in the Pondicherry University website. The exams are more of tough levels of you don't get the concept clear.

Placement Experience:

Studying in a vacation town

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most important point is it's similarity to NET CSIR joint examination. After the end of 3 semesters, if you study properly, you will be able to solve 70% csir c section with accuracy. As laboratory is not prioritized, you will have to struggle for real life experience. But inside info: you can tag along with scholars to get the hands on experience. Frequency of examination is too much with all the internals and all. Difficulty level is manageable as per masters.
