Course Curriculum Overview

I personally chose this subject to continue my graduation topics . I had a plan to do phd too But due to the academic stress and low facilities that this University is providing, I started to lose my interest on the subject. Professors are of high quality and they have much knowledge, but when it comes to teaching field , some of them fails .They doesn't know how to teach

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees are very much high compared to other central universities. And compared to tuition fee there is not a good facility in lab or infrastructure etc etc So the tuition fees are high. Still there are some scholarships provided

Campus Life

The campus is pretty good. I love the ambience of this University. As pondicherry is a tourist spot there are more places to visit . And the university is pretty large ie 800 acres. But there are not that much clubs and all which are active in this University, there will be no time for extracurricular activities after the academic pressure

Hostel Facilities

Very bad . As I'm allotted to the new hostel , it doesn't have good wifi connection even our network is not working in this place . A small room consisting of 3 beds , 2 shelfs , 1 table . It's very much congested, During summer days we will be suffering a lot. Rent is 1000 per semester

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Admission was based on the CUET PG exam , its conducted national level , for all central universities. The last year cut off was 180+ for general out of 400 marks . The question paper contains General questions for 100 marks and subject related questions for 300 marks.

Studying in a vacation town

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most important point is it's similarity to NET CSIR joint examination. After the end of 3 semesters, if you study properly, you will be able to solve 70% csir c section with accuracy. As laboratory is not prioritized, you will have to struggle for real life experience. But inside info: you can tag along with scholars to get the hands on experience. Frequency of examination is too much with all the internals and all. Difficulty level is manageable as per masters.
