Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is with great admiration and gratitude that I extend my heartfelt appreciation for the curriculum crafted by our esteemed institution. In the vibrant tapestry of academia, our program in textile engineering stands as a beacon of excellence, weaving together innovation, tradition, and ingenuity to shape the future of this dynamic field. At the heart of our curriculum lies a commitment to fostering holistic growth and nurturing the talents of our students. From the moment our aspiring textile engineers embark on their educational odyssey, they are embraced by a comprehensive framework that blends theoretical foundations with hands-on experiences. Through meticulously designed courses, workshops, and practical sessions.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our college is dedicated to providing students with valuable internship opportunities that complement their academic learning and prepare them for the professional world. Collaborating with a diverse range of industry partners, we offer internships across various sectors, allowing students to gain hands-on experience, apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, and explore different career paths. Some of the prominent companies that offer internships to our students include: Reliance, Aditya Birla, Trident, Arvind Mills, GoEnka, Mafatlal etc.

Placement Experience

5

VJTI takes great pride in its robust placement opportunities, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the transition from academia to the professional world. Starting from the penultimate semester of their respective courses, students become eligible to participate in campus placements, allowing them ample time to hone their skills and prepare for interviews. A wide array of reputed companies across various sectors visit our campus every year to recruit talented individuals. Some of the prominent names include TATA Group, Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Welspun, Raymond, Arvind Limited, and many more. These companies offer diverse roles ranging from production and operations to research and development, marketing, and supply chain management. In terms of placement statistics, our college has consistently maintained an impressive track record, with a high percentage of students securing placements year after year. On average, over 90% of eligible students receive offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

For fees I must say, minimal fees for an engineering college, that is, around 80k-85k for 1 year General category. For other categories, it would be lesser. Otherwise other private colleges have minimum 1.5 - 2 lakhs fees per annum. VJTI, being a a government autonomous college, gives you exposure and opportunities to all the scholarships, internship and placement opportunities to you by both government and private establishments. A wide range of companies come to VJTI because of its reputation and this, broader number of students get placed.

Campus Life

5

My campus life experience has been nothing short of exhilarating, marked by a vibrant social atmosphere, active club involvement, and top-notch infrastructure that fosters both academic and personal growth. At the heart of campus life are the numerous extracurricular activities and events that enrich the student experience. Among the most anticipated are our annual cultural festival, "Pratibimb," held in February, and our technical extravaganza, "Technovanza," which lights up the campus. Beyond academics, campus life offers a myriad of opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. VJTI's sports event 'Enthusia'. Whether it's joining a sports team, participating in outdoor adventures, or exploring cultural interests through music and dance, there's something for everyone to get involved in. There are many other events like "Rangawardhan" which is a Marathi cultural event, "Vastra" which is a textile department's event and many more.

Admission

Admission process for me was very convenient as I had seen the list of documents required and ensured I had everything ready for documents verification. There were 2-3 admission counsellors present to guide us and verify our documents and lock-in our seat. They were really helpful throughout the process. I had scored 88.1% in my Diploma in Textile Engineering. I got my allotment in CAP round 2. Overall the process was fine I confirmed my admission on the same day I went for my documents verification
