Course Curriculum Overview

4

As far as I am concerned, the course needs modification . We are following 2016 revised syllabus. The time is changing and need for protection and conservation needs to be called again. Course have relevance as climatic change and scorching sun have came out to be an important factor in daily life as we deal with forest, human forest wildlife interaction , forest management, disaster management, silvicultural methods, wood utilisation, GIS, Wildlife protection,Measures to promote forest ecosystem, Ecosystem services, Soil science and many more.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Depeartment of forest and wildlife is providing intership opportunity and sdmc is also offering students with pg intership or project offers . There is not stipent for some internships Papers can be published under our name is a credit for higher interview and other foreign University.

Placement Experience

3.5

4 th year students are eligible for campus placement. KPPL, Cadbury and several companies or institutions call for temporary placement offers. 1Lpa is the highest offer i know. Mainly students opt for pg and only some opt for jobs as this is a professional course. Either doing PG or doing studies abroad will be better option.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees has to paid whether we are an r grantz holder or non scholarship holder. As the fees is fixed by the Kerala Agricultural University via ICAR . A semester fees include 10500 rupees which includes examination fees college fees and all. Financial assistance is there for students from ICAR seats and e grantz and other scholarship holders. There is only ICAR scholarship for non keralaitesif admission is taken on kerala. Campus provide placements via placement cell in KPPL and other placement from Cadbury and other institutions.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus experience is good. There is a problem of extreme climate as the place is near palakkad .Campus is luxurious with greenery and as it is the main campus we are having 8 colleges in the same campus and central library for different books and academic and non academic books and all. As it is the main campus, sports facilities are very good and there is a gym for students with all equipments.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are many hostels in the university compound. We are provided with a room which can accomodate 4 person and have a table chair for each person and separate cabinets. Food is common mess and students run the mess . Food is average . Hostel is allotted by the respective colleges and is affordable. There are so many pg and rented room nearby but is little bit expensive which near the university.

Admission

You have to attend Neet Exam and enter the marks in the entrance commissioner website and ranklist will be provided . According to that seats will be allocated to each person . I was 2022 admission .Cut off at that time was 15000 as the exam was harder that year .Admission was very lag that year due to that our overall schedule of classes was shortened

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
