Forestry life

Likes

More leaned towards nature, create a sense of sustainable future
Help us to come out of the comfort zone
College facilities are good, nice class room and laboratory

Dislikes

Sometimes the college is stuck to old fashioned teaching were we simply mug up things
Here the practical exams aren't practical enough....it's just us studying practical portion like theory
The exam life is hectic. Exams are compactly arranged without break for almost 18 days which results in overall stresse

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam period is stressful. Even though the syllabus is not that difficult, the number of exams days make it different for students. The course is good, it help us to be more responsible citizen. We come across many cases were we need to think practically rather than the theory

One and only College of Forestry in Kerala

Likes

Campus atmosphere and luxurious greenery and carefree atmosphere.
Peaceful and calm place with lot of space and fitness centre

Dislikes

Extreme climate especially during summer season.
No shops or urgent facilities are nearby

Placement Experience:

4 th year students are eligible for campus placement. KPPL, Cadbury and several companies or institutions call for temporary placement offers. 1Lpa is the highest offer i know. Mainly students opt for pg and only some opt for jobs as this is a professional course. Either doing PG or doing studies abroad will be better option.
