Course Curriculum Overview

2

Bsc forestry course comprise of all agriculture courses in one course but major course from own forestry course.so overall forestry course is slightly tough and heavy content course but it's full of happiness and uppertunity. Exams are very frequent in semester wise and half of its course is based on practical.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement is very few in our college because it is not affiliated from ICAR but job uppertunities are quite good than the placement because forestry graduate get upto 50percent reservation in getting job for ranger and ACF. No there is no Internship in our college.

College Events

3

Our college conduct all cultural and athletic events.in one year we conduct one cultural event which comprise of many short events, one literal event, one athletic event and annual function. With a new batch students conduct fresher's.our college also celebrate Ganesh puja and Saraswati puja.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ouat is very big University but it's price is increases every year which is very negative factor.its almost expense like an private institute because fee structure is so high.for genera seat it is almost 48000 but for costsharing additional 58000 is added to general fee.according to a middle class family I think it is very high and expensive with comparison to any other government University.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit Scholarship is Rs.500/- Per Month to 15% of total strength.Free Studentship Boarder Rs.500/- per Semester Is 10% of the total strength. State Govt. Odisha 1)Medhabruti Scholarship Rs.10,000 2Post-Matric Scholarship a) Tuition Fees b) Maintenance Cost For SC/ST/Minor Community as decided by SC/ST Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department. 3) Kalia Scholarship As decided by Govt. of Odisha The candidates whose parents are getting benefits of Kalia Programme of Govt. of Odisha are eligible National Talent Scholarship Rs.3000.00 per month 2) Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST candidates Rs. 300/- p.m. along with a contigent grant of Rs. 750/- per annum.

Campus Life

1

Our college conduct all cultural and athletic events.in one year we conduct one cultural event which comprise of many short events, one literal event, one athletic event and annual function. With a new batch students conduct fresher's.our college also celebrate Ganesh puja and Saraswati puja.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is very old but It's environment is good.bit hostel rooms are quite good because it's a small hostel comprise of 22 rooms.in one room 4 students are accommodate.hostel fees is 27000 per semester so hostel fee is good and feasible.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college celebrate alumini meet in every year.college seniors are very good they are helpful and treat us like a family. In every meet they inspired us and motivate us and help us to get success in life

Admission

Now a days whole world is facing problem of deforestation and global warming so it takes my interest to involve in this course. I am also a nature lover and I want to explore inside forest so that's the reason to choose the course.

Faculty

2

There is no government institute in India in which all faculty members are good.in college of forestry few teachers are very good and majority teachers are not that good which we expect from them. All teachers are qualified but way of teaching is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is very vast and i hope it is filtered. But the new admission hqs got a very new curriculym with more in person experience courses, which is better in my opinion. I do wish that some courses are changed or added to ours too including AI as it is of rising inpprtance in all sectors. The schedule is very hectic so it could be tweaked a bit to accomadate some relax time for the students.Other than that i belive that the scheduling and curriculum is good. The frequency of examination is okay...but the mark system is very complex. So good marks has to acheieved in almost all the semesters so that a good OGPA can be recueved.
