Course Curriculum Overview

The relevance of studying History is very much for an average person to rise above the average mindset in understanding day to day problems. Difficulty level is quite good and exams are difficult as well. Marks given for history are less than other courses.

Internships Opportunities

Internships in history department are not directly available rather one has to look for them across colleges and institutions. ASI and National Museum internships are available as well. Apart from it, certain projects also come which can be accessed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 22,000 for one year which is quite low. If someone is struggling with financial problems one may contact the professors who will help. Also, college extends scholarship opportunities as well to help students continue their studies.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good as compared to other north campus colleges. Social aspects are very much highlighted and extracurriculars are paid enough attention. Societies and clubs are very active and helpful.

Admission

I took the CUET exam which was implemented for the first time in the country and went through a tough time of preperation just to score much to get through the lists of admission in DU for the dream college.

Worst decision ever

Placement Experience:

Personally, i have good amount of experience in the industry so i might just not need vollege placements. But fir the senior batch i think only a fee got placed but rest of the students are doing things personally.

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert,etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

I applied to top colleges of DU only. I was clear from the start that I'll only take admission if I get any of the top colleges in Delhi University. My cuet score wasn't great so I didn't get into SRCC. If you want to get into Hansraj do prepare from the start tho cuet isn't tough.
