The course had some interesting papers in its syllabus. And as data science is booming in it industry i thought it was the besg decision to choose this course. The course has a compulsory internship in 7th semester for training us in the basis of the current industry expectations. Per semester we have 2 sets of internals and practical exams. And 1 set of final semester exams on theory papers alone.

Companies like thorogood, d shaw, kla etc come to the campus for placement. The average stipend is 30000 per month . But it may vary based on the companies. Projects given by the company will be considered as the credit for 7th semester.

7th semester is the semester for internships. Conversions will be given based on our performance. This conversion is applied in 10th semester. But again the placement cell actively works in making the students get placed.

Per semester the average fee is around 60000. Scholarships are available and valid. The educational loan is to be applied in indian bank and it covers only about 30 percent of the overall fee structure. But it may vary now.

There are various clubs in all domains both technical and non technical. The current club members interview the candidates for the position of new club committee members. The social group can be wide or narrow based on the student's involvement in clubs and sports.

The hostel facility for girls is satisfactory. There wont be much freedom like staying in pgs but its manageable. The rooms are neat and spacious. The quality of menu is poor. The hostel office must be contacted for registration of the hostel rooms. It is about 30000 per year for hostel fee and it takes 2000 per month for mess fee.

The application form can be found in the college website. We had an interview for the admission process. The cut off was above 70 percent in maths, physics, chemistry or computer science. The interview was taken by our department staff and the questions were from all fields like maths, physics, comouter science and even english. The communication skills of the interviewee was also judged.
