Remarks

Awesome. The university is good in all aspects and it provide overall learning to the students not in subjects but in all the areas be it social or cultural.

Entrance Preview

I took Punjab CET. I had chosen this university as this was the was the best in the region.

Internships Opportunities

That was also nice. Lot of companies came and I was selected in GABRIEL,PARWANOO.

Placement Experience

4.5

100% placement. All big companies like Maruti,PTL,Honda,Siemens,InfosysTCS etc came and the placement was 100%.

College Events

Saturnalia and other technical fests were organised every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any of them. But many scholarship were available based on excellence in study,sports and many other areas.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was like that infact there were equally number of girls as that of boys. A number of cultural and technical societies were there,I don't remember their names as of now. If we talk about the students diversity the students were from all over india.

Hostel Facilities

Everything was upto mark. The food quality was really good and the mess fee was very nominal.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is quite strong. I got regular communication from the alumni office there at Thapar University.

Faculty

Excellent. The faculty was very qualified and was always keen to teach.

4 Placement Experience:

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

The Placements at Lovely Professional University(LPU) are descent overall, especially for undergraduate program like B.Tech. But for for the Masters students the placements are not good, they focus on research work only.

Thapar University : A Blend Of Quality Education And Strong Placements

Placement Experience:

if there are no backlogs student first gets a chance to be placed at a good company as an intern after 2 sem internship usually is for 3 & 4 sem. College makes sure you get a great company with high stipend and ppo offer also. after the internship completion either the student get placed at the same company or the placement drive also begins from 3 sem only where you can apply and get interviews with the organization

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
