- infratsructure: proper infrastructure is there and practical labs are well equiped
- at least for 1st yr. the faculties are vigilant and conduct classes on regular interval
- the campus life is great especially as tournaments of different sports and events like Dj night is organized.
Dislikes
- Even after paying this much amount of money all classroom doesn't have air condictioners.
- There is some compulsory extra activity that is need to be done every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affialated to MAKAUT UNIVERSITY. Their curriculum is well designed in the perspecive of all round development. In the 1st year the curriculum of all the department is similiar and it also helps a student if a student wishes to change department after 1st yr. One improvement that can be done is changing the syllabus according to the timing of semester, what i mean is due to any case if the semester starts late due to any reason the syllabus should be rearranged accordingly.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our collge is really active and tries it best to bring as many companies as it can which includes companies like TCS,WIPRO, DELLOITE, L&T, START UPS, MICROSOFT and many others. percentage of students getting placement is over 90%
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees is subject to change but overall the during the admission a prospectus is given where the amount to be paid each semester is stated. also there are available scholarships but they're not from college authorities it is from WB govt. and other instutions.
Campus Life
there are 4 clubs and campus life is great, the clubs are technotkarsh(sports club), geekonix(tech club), Ankuran(cultural club), Samarth(literacy club. Each club has students as well as teachers in them .Every month there are events rekated to something. Events, campaign,worskhops are conducted by different clubs and regular intervals .
Admission
I entered this college through WBJEE counselling. For the first round the cut off was around 13000 and i took admission in the first round. The process of admission was really simple first we had to prepare all our original certificates and show it to the person who was doing my admisiion. After scrutiny she asked whether i would like like to move forward to next round o rtake admission here. I opted to take admission so then i paid the 1st semester fees and paid extra Rs.5000 for dresses and bag that would be given by the college. From my perspective Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication is a great decision, because it is a broad stream which leads to multiple job options.
