- Societies here in hansraj are great quality and guide you through everything,as they say there's a society for everything
- The crowd here in hansraj is true cream and everyone is a champion right from school
- The campus is pretty clean and hygienic and the libraries are AC equipped
Dislikes
- The societies some times are toxic in terms of the workload and credits offered and promotion scenes are crazy
- The campus is too small as compared to other colleges as you get bored after a while running around the same grounds
- The administration is strict and always keeps us on our toes,it is always hard to seek permissions for anything we do
Course Curriculum Overview
Economics honours as a course is pretty math oriented but everything it includes inclined towards economics and the curriculum feels outdated however the professors are top notch My decesion to choose this course goes to the placement opportunities available with ab honours in economics as it is rated the highest among all
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities always makes rounds during summers however I'm a first year and I don't have much to say here as I haven't had my first yet and am eagerly waiting for one but as much as much as i know not every arena is welcomed, stipend ranges from 5-50k
Placement Experience
Placements arrive right after our 4th semesters and students across diverse courses are eligible however the most demanded are bcom and economic honours courses along with people in combination courses for these We see placements majorly in finance and consulting roles The placement cell helps most of us get placed but it moreover would depend on one's achievements the highest package goes upto 23 lakhs per annum in hansraj My plans would incline towards a placement however if I don't get one I'll look forward for an mba course
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for the course is minimal and is lesser than any other University,Evey college has a different feelings structure though My complete cost would include my pg rent as well and if we were to count that then I'm paying around 30 thousand a month or more However scholarships are available to lessen down the tution fee and it is really easy to grab one
Campus Life
The society culture in du is too quality and the cream of the cream gets in ,these societies provide guidance and opportunities like no other The libraries in college don't suffice avid book readers however du central library does justice As far as tech advancements are considered every room at hansraj is AC equipped Hansraj has well equipped sports rooms and the sports grounds have held national level players Rest,the campus is clean and tidy with regular hygiene maintanence
Admission
Admission process was pretty smooth and many helpful sources were available all the time,DU CSAS portal is really easy to use CUET as an exam is also pretty easy to clear and the entire process is well managed in itself I feel Course selection page was really helpful too as it only suggests courses under your eligibility so that saves time
