- Infrastructure of the college is pretty good
- You can have access to library anytime during college hours which is quite good.
- Faculty is also good though they are educated by reputed institutions such as jnu or delhi University itself
Dislikes
- Library should be accessible to students throughout the day.
- Teachers are not very concerned about teaching
- Hostels provided by the college are very limited and the cost of living is quite high in the north campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen delhi University for the preparation of civil services examination. There are various societies present which you can join. Semester exams are not very tough so you can focus more on your job preparation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee that I have submitted is somewhere around 24000. I have no idea about the scholarships. Job opportunities are fair for various courses like economics hons or bcom hons. I have not opted for hostels. I am currently living in a flat which costs me around 12000 monthly including food. The overall cost one can expect including tution fee will be around 1.6-1.7 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
There are various fests happening around the delhi University various colleges. Library in my opinion is pretty good you can find various useful books there. There is also a separate space for technical library. Classrooms are good they are fully Ac classes with smart board facilities. In my college (Hansraj) there is a separate body for sports namely Khelo Hansraj which have a quite good reputation
Admission
You are eligible no matter what was your stream in 12th. You can take admission through cuet ug examination. The cutoff marks for my score was 560 something (for sc category) . You have to fill a language domain (which you have studied in 12th standard) and general test.
