Remarks

Candidates should pass class 12th board examination with more than 60 percent marks and clear West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination to get admitted in this college. Application form can be available from the college website and through WBJEE councelling. Application fees is 500rs. Exams are conducted throughout the year and the difficulty level is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The cource curriculum is set in a very effective way keeping in mind the various needs and demands of this fast paced world for the students interested in tech and want to make a career in the technological field. The curriculum is well designed for the students providing aptitude and general knowledge for better opportunities in life

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are not that great. Skilled students apply for internship off campus and gets average stipend like 1000rs per week. Many students who doesn't clear all semisters without and back gets internship

Placement Experience

From 3rd year the students become eligible for campus placements. Various tech companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant etc visits the college campus with TCS and Accenture being the top recruiters. Average package is 4 Lpa and highest package offered on campus is 24 Lpa. Around 75 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee for B.Tech. in computer science and engineering is 625000rs. Various kinds of state and college scholarships are available for financially weak students like the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (SVMCM) scholarship which is 60,000rs per year for engineering students of west Bengal and various scholarships from private banks and all.

Campus Life

The campus life is not very good but there's a lot of annual and technical events and festivals conduct throughout the year. All required books for the course are available in the College library. Every classroom is well equipped with projectors and wifi. The college offers various sports events and extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
