Course Curriculum Overview

My course doesn't give any focus on practical learning. I have political science and history in elective options. No research initiatives are taken by the college.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides an internship. My experience is till now good I'm terms of internship. The average stipend amount was 10k-12k.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario was quite good. Wipro, ranbaxy, etc companies visited the campus. Their average package was 40k-50k.

College Events

Many technical, cultural and managerial fests are organized on the campus. Almost all the students were present in the events. College authorities contributed much in the fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fee was affordable. Our college gives a rebate to reserved category students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides many scholarships such as fee waiver, SC/ST/OBC, sports scholarship, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are given in sharing basis. Rent is 12k-15k for a room.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

The interaction was good with our alumni. Yes, the college provides a proper platform for student-alumni interaction. Yes, the contribution of alumni was much.

The faculty is soo much qualified and experienced. Maitreyi college has high standards of teaching. If you cooperate, the teachers will definitely help you in every possible way.

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

DTU has the best academic scheduling!

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

I chose this college because it was an all-girls college. I wanted to go to Miranda, but the cutoff there was too high, and I couldn't make it. The admission process was simple. Maitreyi College is majestic!!

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
