Course Curriculum Overview
The course be coe is very relevant for future including AI/ML as everything in future is computer based with the advancement of technology. They don't focus too much on coding majorly focused on numericals and theory
Internships Opportunities
There are lots of internship offered by companies during recruitments include front end back end ai etc. Stipend for some companies depend on performance and sometimes it's fixed eg 50 k etc So a resume has to be there with at least 2-3 projects
Placement Experience
Campus placements were awesome when I looked before joining but this year campus placement has dropped to a large extent earlier 300+ companies used to come and this time the count is 70 around. All companies generally take 10-20 students at Max. It's very rare that count is 100+
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is available after every year according to the cgpa of the candidate but for first year it's based on percentile. The amount depends on cgpa. Tution fee is very huge per semester it's 2.5 lakh which is rarely affordabe
Campus Life
Well the amazing events are saturnalia and izhaar and thapar food festival. The books can be accessed easily but returning book after deadline costs you. Hostel facilities are little poor, sometimes there is no internet 2 days before the exam
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is very poor here. Sometimes water doesn't come in bathrooms. Even after registering lots of complaints they may not look into it for a month. Menu is good Wifi is very poor, still fee is huge ie 48k excluding mess fee

Register in www.thapar.edu Fill all the required details n submit the form Select your branch preferences Candidate should have given 12th board exams and jee mains Exams conducted in nearly 2 months and are moderate.
