Course Curriculum Overview

This college is good for the local students who want to B.Tech there is 4 type of branches electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides 45-days internship at any type of limited and government recognition institution after completing this we should submit file and ppt there.

The faculty They call many companies for the placement but the maximum company is marketing field and call center so they are not use full for the student.

In the college campus celebrating the many different type of Event according to the conditions like at the fast year fresh party which given by the senior student and after tech festival and sport week and at the time many different workshop and technical visit.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is two type of seat first is management and other is TFWS, Mangement fee is of 70000 and TFWS is of 17000 and extra fee for the dress, bus, and exam.

Also, support for the poor student they also conduct one exam for poor student which not able to pay the fee but good in study they give schoolship and also give government Base scholarships.

The faculty is also good. There are different departments of all departments all departments have one HOD and rest teacher and lab technicians. All teacher are masters with there field some of PhD also.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.

INSIGHTS OF GCCBA

Goenka college of commerce and business administration is the second best college in Kolkata and the best college under Calcutta University. Hence it has a brand value. I got admission offers in SXUK, Jaipuria THK Jain and Bhawanipur college, But this was the best option I had. The admission process is through your boards marks. I got admission in Aliah University which is in New Town Kolkata I got rank 12. I applied in Shri Shikshathan College also and got admission in first list. I rejected both the colleges as Aliah University though it is a reputed college but the placement committee is not as good as Goenka College of commerce. I applied for BBA + MBA integrated program in Aliah University but I wanted to pursue BCom honours in accountancy and finance thus I rejected Aliah University. Shri shikshayatan college on the other hand is another reputed college in which I applied for bcom honours in accountancy and finance I rejected Shri shikshayatan college as no doubt Goenka College is way more better than Shree shikshayatan and Shri shikshayatan is comparatively very much expensive in comparison with goenka. Shri shikshayatan takes around 250000 tuition fee on the other hand Goenka College charges only 4090 rs for 4 years....Read More
