NIT Durgapur - Its pros and cons

I have choosed Computer Science and engineering as from childhood computer and its technology influence me very much . I have aim to became a programmer and get in a good mnc and for this college is perfect .

I have paid 90,100 as general category student without any scholarship , along with a hostel fee of 19000 and a caution deposit of 5000. In comparison, my EWS(Economically weaker section) peers have paid a tution fee of 48,000 while the hostel fee and caution deposit remain the same . Few days before our cultural fest AArohan was celebrated with lot of joy. All cultural clubs participated in this making it a memorable fest. Lot of singers like Amaal Malik came to our fest . We also have inter hall sports tournament of all sports and it is also a joy to watch and play.

First year hostel is very good in comparison to the money we pay . But afterwards hostel facilities decreases . We have one of the biggest hostels for second year . Hostel food is same as every other hostel of India.

As I am studying in National Institute of Technology Durgapur and it is one of the best nit in India . Studying in nit is always an advantage over styding in other local colleges. I also got NIT puducherry but when I got NIT durgaur i did not give it a second chance and choose this college.

The faculty of the college are very nice and approachable . They very educated in their field by completing graduation from top colleges in India . They are excellent in doubt solving . Total 4 exams are there 2 midsems and 2 endsems per year . The level of exam is not that difficult one can easily pass by if he study sincerely

We enjoy noght life very much . We hang out in cafeteria , pond , or just roam in the campus . If we are in hostel then also it is enjoyable by playing cards and there is no checking by warden at late night.
