A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Kamala Nehru College: Where Opportunity awaits

I applied to the Banaras Hindu University in the same course that is History Hons. I even secured admission there, but as the University of Delhi has a much better reputation than Banaras Hindu University so i got in here. There was also some students who did there high school from Banaras Hindu University but got in here. The only admission process followed here is through CUET UG examination. The cutoffs are rather high with about atleast 550 marks out of 800 at my time for the whole of the university not just Kamala Nehru College. Based on your scores and preference you will get admission here....Read More

I applied for multiple other colleges in DU. Like hindi, Venky and SBSE. I was alloted by CUET according to my prefernce list. I made some mistakes while making my preference list or i might have made it to SBSE. The admission process is pretty simple. After applying for DU in CUET, make a preferce list according to your prefernce. If you get alloted this college pay the fees amd you can start your classes. Pretty simple. There is absolutely no complications....Read More
