Placement scenario is excellent in this campus. 90% of students got placement from here. The various mnc like Amazon, Microsoft, Deshaw, Capgemini etc. are major companies that visited in our campus avg package is around 8-15 lacs.

College Events

Various technical and cultural fests are organized by our university like code hackthon and music concert by famous Punjabi singers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is quite expensive about 70-75k per semester fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, this university provides many scholarships like TU scholarship. Yes, I m getting that based on my entrance exam test. Yes, university helps in getting the loan from various sbi and icici bank branches.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, their rooms are well furnished and neat and clean. There are ac rooms as well. There is a single and sharing room as well. University has no pg. The fees are around 45k.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

The faculty is very educated and experienced with the latest updates in order to train their students. They are interactive too. They are available for each and every help in studies.

Honest review of Rimt University

Likes

First time I got chance to interact with students from Afghanistan, Manipur, Nigeria
I got to know about placement drives that as engineer I can be befitted

Dislikes

As master's student I was not that much looked by staff members as they thought we should know basic details by ourselves
No one is conserned if you don't take classes regularly as they themselves skip classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

Remarks:

Management will take care of your problems. Got admission through GATE exam and it's was written exam and then interview at institute. And submitting all essential documents and verified.after the all these process you will get the admission.

The best of the best!

Remarks:

Overall, the college management is very good. They are not bias towards anyone and they make sure that every thing is done according to rules. The timings are set and there is a lot of security in our college. One feels very safe here and even our parents are tension free because even they think its a very peaceful and homely environment.

I applied to IGDTUW , VIT vellore and other colleges i got into both in VIT i got CS but it was too far away plus the placement percentage there is comparatively low and IGDTUW i didn't have mg prefered branch. i got selected to VIT vellore , but as i belong to punjab, and the level of VIT and TIET is the same, i preffered TIET i could even get a lower branch at NITJ (95%ile), but i did not want to compromise on my branch. admission process - you fill up an online form where you fill hostel preferances (like branch and college preferances in JoSAA) from thr options of hostels available for you (J, H, FRF and FRG for boys, I G E and PG for girls). you come here acc to time slot given to you acc to your percentile or boards percentage you are called into the main audi you get alloted a hostel there you fill up some forms, pay the mess fee, hostel fee and course fee in there go to hostel get your room keys and mess card issued then setup your room...Read More
