Likes

The academic is soo good and the subject are easy to learn
The facilities are friendly and reliable which it's comes to the academics
The seniors are soo friends and the campus is raging free

Dislikes

We don't have a proper wifi connection in the hostel
We don't have placement cell in the campus and no proper channels to communicate to the placement authority
We expect to have more fields trips as a Disaster management students

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all the name itself make the course unique. And in my intermidiat days I was into environmental science and disaster management. Then I got to know than pondicherry University offers this course. The syllabus and the curriculum is innovative and informative.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first semester is around seventeen thousand and mess fees and others include about 24 thousand we were told that we will be getting Island scholarship about 18 thousand other than that no benefits.

Campus Life

Campus life nor that much when compared with the main campus but we have an library with ebooks and other journals. We don't have much club activities but with the limited resources we the students plan our own activities

Hostel Facilities

When it comes to the hostel facilities we don't have a proper wifi connection which makes difficult for me study during the exam periods. The food is okay but not that satisfactory. The hostel fees is comparatively high.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

I got admission through the CUET exam held for the pg admissions. As I scored the sufficient mark for being admitted to the University I got an opportunity to apply for the course. Since I belong to general category I didn't get any Reservation benefits.

Pondicherry university: A perfect blend of academics, campus life, and affordability.

Placement Experience:

at pondicherry university ,students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semister.companies like tcs,infosys,wipro, visit campus offer jobs in software development and testing.the highest packagge is around 4-6lpa.70-80 percdnt students get placed.after completing my degree i plan secure a good job in it.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness our campus stood up first and many cirricular activities would be held day by day ..theres ccc building where are all the events takes place. We have a lot of opportunities as the course as so much demand. The semester exams takes place at every 6 months and the exam level will be easy if we study for the internals.

Studying in a vacation town

Course Curriculum Overview:

The most important point is it's similarity to NET CSIR joint examination. After the end of 3 semesters, if you study properly, you will be able to solve 70% csir c section with accuracy. As laboratory is not prioritized, you will have to struggle for real life experience. But inside info: you can tag along with scholars to get the hands on experience. Frequency of examination is too much with all the internals and all. Difficulty level is manageable as per masters.

Life in Pondicherry University as a PG Student
