Course Curriculum Overview

The course makes you software related, programing related jobs and many more. The faculty is cooperative and helpful. But the mid semester exams are so lengthy as per 1 hour. Length could be decreased.

Placement Experience

Average packages are 6-6.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like TCS, Reliance etc gives placement opportunities to the students. Maintaining atleast 7 CGPA is enough to get placement from this university .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The full course is of 11-12 lakh for 4 years with 8 semesters. Scholarships are also available as per the conditions in the application form. Scholarships like sports quota, NCC, Any social activist etc.

Campus Life

All departments organise their own fests in winters in October or November. A grand celebration is also organised in April which is JASHAN. There are opportunities to form private clubs or join the existing clubs. Almost every department is having it's own library and books related to that department. Apart from this the books in the Main Library are abundant.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is 60% in PMC(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). The application form is on the official website of GNDU. UCET(University common entrance test) is the exam for this course. It is a 3 hours exam.

Great Exposure and a Balanced System

Remarks:

I chose this university particularly from ample of other available as it was quite approachable from my place of residence. The admission procedure is not too hectic. We have to fill an online application form released in June itself and an entrance exam is conducted followed by counselling sesson within a week.And you are in the campus. That's way too simple. The entrance exam is not difficult at all. You get into courses depending on your rank obtained in the entrance exam.
