Likes
- Infrastructure: It is well maintained and built.
- Teachers: Except 1 kr 2 most of the IT teachers are supportive.
- Environment : Strict no ragging policy, seniors are kind and helpful
Dislikes
- Area : Around 16 to 17 acres only. Can easily get crowded.
- Place : Have to travel 2 hr daily to go to college.
- Management: It is sort of hit and miss. Sometimes they can be helpful sometimes not.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is somehow not completely great. But from 2nd year now on, some important subjects are taught which are course related. The maximum timings is 9 to 4. Frequency of classes is 5-6 classes per day and 5 days a week. Exams are moderate and invigilators are strict.
Internships Opportunities
No on campus internships are provided. Students have to find on their own. There is an important rule that either minor project or an internship must be done by student before the end of the 7 th semester
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students can participate in placement drive. 4 to 5 lpa is average salary offered. TCS,wipro, Mahindra,Zs associates etc are companies which visits. Around 60 to 70 percent students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is somehow expensive. Also it is getting more expensive per year. Around 1.8 lac is fee for 1 year. Scholarships are provided as per the eligibilty which you can check on their site. Average placement is of 4 to 5 lac per annum.
Campus Life
Fests are great bonuses. Although societies make you do the work in the fests, they are pretty enjoyable. Huge no. Of fests are held each year and anyone can take part in them. Library is small but okayish. Average ground. No sports equipment will be given before 3 pm. Societies are great if you are willing to give time to it.
Admission
Candidate must pass Jee Main exam. After that apply for cgsipu councelling. If you get alloted this college then you have to follow the basic procedures for admission given by the university. Reservations are provided for sc,st and obc.
