What Students Say

Likes

Faculties, management, exposure from college and seniors
Cells that promote students for come to lead in their domains
My cricket team experience and campus canteen vibe in college

Dislikes

Too strict for attendance and sometimes hectic schedule
Sometime you have to struggle for internal marks
Sports facilities can be improved in college

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the course to get knowledge and practice in EEE engineering and exposure from college in different domains In our college faculty and student ratio is quite good there are sufficient teachers for each subject most of faculty are PHD holders in their domains and they put efforts in teaching

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is around 5.5 to 6 lakhs for complete 4 years of btech in bvcoe Delhi you can get scholarships from University and in government schemes you can apply for internships side hustles freelance work for managing your own expense

Campus Life

3.5

There is annual cultural fest xtasy which is quite good and also societies organize tech fest in college which is average I will say classrooms are best in bvcoe among all engineering colleges in ipu fully occupied with ac sports and extra curricular activities on campus are very active there is sport council for sports they conduct annual sports fest and also participate in outside tournaments but the infrastructure is average for sports other than there are many societies for extra curricular activities

Admission

I got admission by giving jee mains then after the jee mains result ipu releases their college lists and application form for get yourself register for admission process then counseling rounds start there are 3 main round and 2 spot round according to your rank you get college and branch there is 85 reservation for Delhi students who have done their schooling of class 12th from Delhi talking about eligibility criteria you need to secure atleast 55 percent marks in pcm in class 12th and have to give jee mains application forms get release on official ipu University website admission process is quite lengthy in ipu

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

We applied in the admission procedure in IPU and provided a minimal fees for the process. After that, there were 3 rounds of selection in which we chose which college in IPU we need and which stream.
