Likes

The infrastructure of maitreyi is very good and attractive.It always feels us like our home. There are mainly 2 important buildings in our college one is old building and the other one is NSB so both of them are very good in infrastructure.
Friendly environment of the college is the other important attractive factor.
Societies of maitreyi are very active I am also the part of Vachik and this is the only thing which helps me in my personality development.

Dislikes

Canteen food- The food of the canteen is not good.
Hostel fees - the charges of the hostel are very high
Sometimes the classes are cancelled on the regular basis

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is BA programme (history+political science). And these are the main subjects required for UPSC that's why I choose it. It really helps me a lot to gain the knowledge about these subjects in detail. There are no improvements needed to be done in teaching method.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 11650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees of my course is almost around 12 thousands including all the charges. I am not sure about the scholarship but there are scholarship provided to the students. There are internship provided by our college for only some specific courses.

Campus Life

There are several fests which are held in our college. There are different different department fest which are organised by the departments only. But the Annual fest of maitreyi College is Rhapsody which is organised in the month of February mostly. There are smart boards in the classes. Sports faculty is also very active. There are different societies as well.

Admission

Helloo I am a student of maitreyi college. The eligibility of the course is just to score the merit of cuet. The basic details about the college can be easily available on the official website of maitreyi college or you can pursue it from college duniya yourtube etc. The benefits of reservation are provided on the basis of merit prepared for that specific caste.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs.
