Remarks

Staff is fine,a few facilities lack in college like air conditioning except for Computer science, there's no fully air conditioned department. No exposure here for the students, societies aren't much well functioning!

Entrance Preview

There is not too much hustle, the staff is good and supporting. If you're looking for exposure, this college is not for the purpose. Teachers are quite good and it's a star graded college for food technology. Microbiology and biomedical sciences are the best options. This is the only college in DU to offer polymer science.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's good and you get the pressure in 3rd and 4th semester because 2nd year is crucial. You'll have two core subjects, one generic electrive and an aecc (english or EVS) for first two semesters, you'll have 5 total subjects in seconds year and 4 in third! it's good and balancing

Internships Opportunities

Our college does provide internship but no stipend is provided for that purpose, it's for educational purpose more or less because you'd be working for the research going on with doctorate students.

Placement Experience

3

Can't say much about this context but there are just science courses in our college so you do that on your own. Most of the students find good scope in foreign courses or jobs after pursuing science courses like Zoology, botany, microbiology, biomedical sciences etcetera.

College Events

3

There is not too much hype in our college but fashion society and literary society do well in the college i guess. The only celebration you'd see would either be for elections or the annual fest or departmental fests. The departmental fests are being arranged by the students and teachers themselves together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's quite feasible because it won't be anymore than 12 thousand for an there is extra fee of 200 rupees taken for G.E. practicals. He college is not expensive at all.you would not be expected to be spending much for anything except for the minimal necessities you need as a student.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan facility is provided by the college as much as I have an idea of.I guess you can use education loan from any bank for the purpose otherwise I have no idea of anything like that.Although,an examination occurs to get some good scholarship but you have to score well in that Rest you would know if you decide to visit the college!

Campus Life

3.5

The college environment is good, the students come from all different states of India and live peacefully together. No cases of ragging or so has ever been reported, everyone is supportive and gender ratio is good.In fact,a few departments have more girls. It is the only DU college with a separate bathroom for handicapped but unfortunately there is no handicapped student here.

Hostel Facilities

2

The food is so and so fine in canteen. No hostel facility provided. The college canteen staff has been replaced recently and there are further upgraded things are supposedly coming in the next year so we are waiting to see them too.More varieties would be provided.

Alumni/Alumna

They have been good to know if you ever kept a contact with them.they would always be helpful i must say and good to go with. There have been few students who have gained a lot from college.

Exam Structure

You must attend all the labs, they aren't that hectic usually so it's all cool.If you want to score good then you need to understand one thing that you should be taking classes regularly and your 10/10 score doesn't depend upon exam only you can score 70 percent of that only if you don't attend the classes.

Admission

I kept following the merit list or cut-offs for admission.you have to calculate your percentage in three main subjects and then match it with the cut-off if it shows eligible then rush for the admission as soon as you can.Do not go there with incomplete documents or with mistakes.Make sure your name and details are same everywhere else they would ask you for affidavits! Complete the form and procedure, you'll get the help in college and submit.Fee payment happens online and you get 24 hourse or more to do that.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is overall good and quite well experienced.teachers are forthcoming and helpful, lab staff too. Some teachers in chemistry are not that fine I've heard, otherwise all the departments are well facilitated and praised, especially microbiology and food technology.

2nd and 3rd semester students become pretty eligible for placements and internships via placement cell or other sources. My plans after my degree are still academic. I want to complete my MSc and Phd from well acknowledged universities.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of KMC works really well. Many top companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Wipro visit the campus. It also arranges internships and placement drives, making sure students are ready for jobs. Overall, KMC provides a lively atmosphere and strong career support. From 6th Semester onwards, students can sit for campus placements. The highest package was upwards of ?30 LPA and the average package is around ?6-8 LPA. Our course saw a similar average package and the highest package was ?23 LPA. Around 30% of the previous batch was placed with the rest going for higher education and other job or entrance examinations. After getting my degree, I plan to go for higher education in statistics or economics. And beyond that I have made up my mind that I want to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and RBI Grade B Officer examination.

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college
