In conclusion, I would only gove this college great remarks. It is a dream for every student to study under such a privileged institution and I have been one of the few to avail it.

It is one of the reputed engineering colleges under Panjab University. People from across India apply for the jee mains examination based on which you get to be placed in one of the 4 esteemed institutions based on your scores and the desired field in which the student is interested.

It has a very systematic approach that leads you to a better understanding of your course taking you from basics to the core. The course slowly and gradually takes the students through this process and practical knowledge is also shared with them simultaneously so that they get a hands-on experience.

The college gives students a chance to go out into the industry and opt for internships and the general stipend varies from place to place. However, if a student fails to find something on their own then the student can opt for interning at the college itself.

Placements and job opportunities are very bright as the student has completed their degree under a world knew prestige university. Many companies visit the campus based on the respective fields which select you based on certain examinations, group discussions, and personal interview.

College celebrates a no. Of events, it touches all the important topics of cultural, technical, literary, religious, extracurriculars and gives a chance for students to show discover their other interests and activities. Every year the college festival takes place in which colleges from different states participate and interact.

The fee structure is almost half of what a student pays in a private institution. It is very feasible and the govt. Even provides special aid and numerous scholarships to students with the low economic background. Stationaries and different aids are also granted to students.

Campus life is as good as good gets, the four years spent are something you cherish forever, the gender ratio is very balanced and special reservations are even kept to maintain this ratio and diversity. All the extracurriculars are included in the college and everyone is free to avail them. Labs are properly constructed and provided with all that is necessary for practical knowledge and research. All the things mentioned were very good and everything helps contribute in the learning process.

The hostel facilities and mess are given not too extraordinary but provide you with all the basic necessities the food prepared are hygienic and nutritious and the living conditions are good and secure so that students feel a sense of security. There are very strict rules against bullying and ragging.

The alumni and seniors always stay in touch and moreover help you after your graduation to make better choices and give you opportunities in the industry.

They follow the semester system according to which 2 minor examinations take place and then the final examination divided accordingly over a period of six months and both minor and major examinations contribute in the total scores followed by assignments practicals and viva and presentations.

I got my admission through JEE mains after which a counselling took place which places you to one of the colleges according to your choice of field and college based on your scores. There are 4 rounds in counselling in which a student is awarded a seat based on their choice.
