Course Curriculum Overview

As for the IT revolution in the world , choosing CSE safe guards our career & its demands is never ending. The teaching methods are good but the curriculum should be more relevant to the placement studies.

Internships Opportunities

Intership opportunities are getting less this days but it starts from the third semister. Although on campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership. But all the interships are paid . You need to have 2 good projects & good knowledge of DSA

Placement Experience

From 7th semister onwards students are eligible for placement. Oracle, Amazon, vedanta ONGC Qualcomm and many other top companies visit the campus. Highest package is 53 lpa & average is 13 lpa for CSE . In CSE this year 70% got placement. I am planning to get a job afterwards.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for general students are 77 thousands to 68 thousands & hostel & mess fees ranges from 19 thousands to 25 thousands. There are many scholarships schemes available & all are on the website of NIT agartala. The past records of employments of this college is good but in 2023 it dropped as for recession

Campus Life

There is moksha the cultural fest & tech fests & many other cultural fest organised in college. Maximum of the course books are available in the library as east to get also . The classes of computer science has projector & labs have good desktops . The sports cultural is also much better & many events are organised as NPL . There are many clubs in the college as gaming, singing, photography to coding clubs & many more

Admission

For getting CSE as HS you need to get 95 percentile+ & as OS you will need 98 percentile. All the details for application form , fees & dates will be available in jossa & then by Physical verification by NIT agartala. You will get CSE if you are SC at 88 percentile. The frequency of the exam is haphazard & the exam levels are moderate to easy.

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 7th semester. Some companies that visited our campus are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, Axis Bank. Almost 80 to 90 % students get placed every year on campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester onwards we're eligible for placements. The companies visit here are Microsoft, Amazon, Phone pe, Paypal , physics wallah, Cloudera. Highest package was 56lpa and average was 18lpa. My plans are either getting to a company or giving GATE exam and securing a good IIT for Mtech

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: Learning, Living, and Growing

Placement Experience:

At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
