During the duration of the course, the students go for field trips for analysis of field data. This brings about an awareness of the surroundings and the environment. The students also master cartography skills. They prepare field reports based on their studies

Delhi University Scholarships: Delhi University offers financial aid to meritorious and financially weak students. Delhi University scholarships are offered in terms of tuition fee waivers, rewards, monthly/yearly stipends, one-time grants, etc. Various DU Affiliated colleges and departments offer scholarships ranging from INR 100 every month to a one-time INR 25,000. Students can apply for Delhi University scholarship form on or before the last.

The College Life Is Great , Fests Are Excellent And There Is A Lot Of Exposure . Campus Is Also Beautiful And The Library Is Also Wonderful. Along With That The Lab Facilities Are Up To Par With Many Nits And Iits.College Curriculum Is Up To Date Placements Are Also Good . If You Work Hard And Explore More The ROI Is Great Faculty Is Not Up To Par. Many Are Not Cooperative Canteen And Cafeteria Is Unhygienic And There Is A Lot Of Improvement To Be Made Environment Is Getting Stricter As The Days Pass By. Freedom Is Very Less Inside

Eligibility - you will have to qualify cuet to addmission in du for UG and PG.which is conducted by NTA. Application fees -200, application date was 30march 2023 Reservation -22.5%seats are reserved for scheduled cast and tribes Admission process was very easy

Dyal Singh College is splendid!

Dyal Singh Placements aren't that hefty that I can boast a lot about them. Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. Coming to DSC placements over 30% students of Political Science from our college are placed via campus.

DSC is a decent college!

Placement Experience:

DSC placements are not that great as around 30-40% students are placed and that is how it is here. Most students of Political Science go for higher studies or get job opportunities in political consultancy or journalism.

Gargi : A home to a stranger

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love the course I have opted for in the College. I had so much interest in literature since I was in school, hence made the decision to opt for English Honours in my undergraduate degree. The curriculum of this particular course is easy to get, teaches practical knowledge. We have Internal Assesment and Continuous Assessment before theory exams. In continuous assessment, we are given some topic to make presentation or a group discussion from our sense of knowledge and experience. Speaking up in a crowd and in front of the whole class gives the practical knowledge of being there, present, confidence and speak up your thoughts I would love if we can also watch theatre within the curriculum as we read various plays but watching and analysing them would be great. Mostly the exams are held in December and May, they are moderate level of examination and I have found absolute no difficulty sitting in them and writing. We get 3 hours for the core subjects, and 1 hour for our respective VACs, SECs and AECs.
