Course Curriculum Overview
It is located at Port Blair, the picturesque capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It has sophisticated laboratory facilities equipped with the latest equipment such as GPR, ERT, terraTEM, echosounder for field investigations and ArcGIS/eras facilities. The department offers PhD and M.Sc. programmes in disaster management. The department educates and trains the students to conduct R&D activities in disaster management. Students from all over India come over to the Port Blair campus to enrich their knowledge in disaster studies.

Campus Life
Library facilities are good. Lots of books are available in the library and its very useful for research aspects as well.Good infrastructure with air conditioner facilities and wifi. Extracurricular activities and sports offerings the campus need to be improve
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Two people in a room having two beds two cupboard two chairs and a study table.But there is no generater facilities in the hostel it make some discomfort.food quality are just okey
Admission
The admission process based on the CUET (pg) entrance exam. Eligibility of the course is Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in Science/ B.C.A./ B.A. Geography/ B.E. Civil Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% of marks.
