West Bengal and Fisheries

Actually I have a great interest in fish and fisheries. So I choose this college . And this college is a good college of India at our state so fixed to get admission here All the courses of this degree course r really good and about teaching method it is very good that all the professors are always try to knowing us all the topics in a simplest way and also practical works are help us to know deeply the fishery field. There are 2 semester each year and one semester contains 2 terms one midterm happen 3 months after new semester start ,contains 30 marks and second one endterm which happen 2 months after midterm and contains 70 marks including practicals. And if any student prepare well from the first day it is easy for him/ her

Students who completed their graduation become eligible for placement. Godrej feed company ,nexgen company etc are visited here and any student who want to get job then can sit interview process of selected companies and can get job. Highest average package for graduate student -40000 After completing master degree this package become -60000 and for phd degree student it will 1 lakh 90% students got placement I am going for masters degree after graduation

We should pay 5710 rs per semester and each year 2 semester are there so 11420 rs per annum including hostel charges Hostel charges 2600 per annum. means 1300 per semester and rest of the money are goes under tution fees , library charges ,lab charges etc. Students of west Bengal got SVMCM scholarship per year provided bt our honorable chief minister (18000). And those who got admission by ICAR they got national scholarship per year (36000). And also our university provides scholarship of top 10-12 students of each year (3600/year) . All of those scholarships are for Undergraduate students.

Our annual sports and cultural meet are held in a year. Besides this sports tournament, Saraswati pujo, biswakarma pujo,holi,picnic and freshers farewells,Agomoni before Durga pujo are held in faculty. In our college library there are huge collection of books from international journal to all the thesis of our master's and phd students are there in this library. Classrooms have projectors and AC in all rooms and proper light and desks are there

All the rooms of the hostel have chair ,bed ,table ,fan ,light,wooden rack and a wall rack per room and per student all are provided. Meal is given two times lunch and dinner and the quality of the meal is good and Most of the days fish are given in lunch and in dinner chikn and egg are there For hostel each student must registerd at the time of their admission and pay the hostel fees for that year If anybody want to stay in a pg or rent room then he can do because with in 1 km of faculty there are so many pg rooms and rooms for rent

Any student who have passed 12th class examination can apply for this college. I found the application form from the website but I admitted through ICAR AIEEA UG Exam and in for this exam's application fees was 375 rupees for me and application date was in 2020. Reservation for ICAR students - are having 7 seats for UG and for those students who got admission by HS marks there are reservation by category wise. If anyone got admission by ICAR then he/ she must sit on the online mode exam with the subject of physics chemistry and biology. And those who admitted bt HS marks that is merit list based . All the admission technique are good but should be held in proper time period.
