- Infrastructure was really bad, we did not have enough practical classes as promised
- Library facility was also not good, not enough books for all students
- I just got a placement with a CTC of 36k per anum. It was ridiculous to get a job with 3k salary after spending almost 3 lakhs. Also we had to pay separately for internships and all India tour which was included in the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam pattern was good. Moderate paper was there. Examiner had done a great job. For the curriculum we always had to pay extra money. In our 7th sem, we had all India tour, we did have any practical classes or theory exam still we had to pay for the practical and library not only that we had to pay for the trip as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
I needed to pay 42k per semester which has been increased now. I use to get 25% concession on tuition fees. Tuitions fees was 30k, hence I paid 35k per sem. One of my friend use to get 90% concession on tuition fees. There were many scholarship available based on merit or cast.
Campus Life
We had college fest then different cultural events, I had participated in T-shirt painting but the result was never announced, it's been 3 years. College Authority is very careless. They never think about the students.
Admission
I got the opportunity to take admission in Doon University of agriculture. I didn’t go there because of distance. After completing my graduation I appeared in ICAR-AIEEA PG, I couldn't take admission because of financial issue, then I have tried to take admission in WBUAFS to pursue M.F.Sc but I got rejected
Faculty
Faculty student ratio was very less. We have 6-7 different departments only had 3-4 faculties, who didn’t have the specialization for the departments. We just use to get notes, we try to remember them and write them in exams. The faculties never helped us for central entrance examinations. The worst was our dean who never listen to us. Even the placement was arranged by the faculties rather than the placement cell of the college. When we asked them about our placement they just show some random emails they sent to the company and didn't get the reply and they were telling can't you see we are trying but comapnys are not replying.
Night Life
The college is situated at a village, after 7PM everything close. No restaurants, grocery store are near the college. It's really scary to move outside after 7PM. It is very unsafe specially for girls.
