Course Curriculum Overview

As I always wanted to be in a medical field but I can not crack neet so my second preference was Bsc in radiology. From my friends and relatives I came to know about this university. As my course is fully based on practical knowledge therefore lacking of it is affecting the students which is the area that can be improved. As we have to give exam in the span of one month therefore we don't get sufficient time for our studies.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The tuition fees is slightly high. As I am residing in the hostel we also have to pay the hostel fees. There are many scholarships which are provided by the university on the basis of the higher secondary marks. As I am fresher and none of our seniors have pass out from the college so I don't have any idea about the job opportunities.

Campus Life

The social aspects revolves around clubs such as academic club, sports club and many more which provides opportunities to the students . Every kind of books are available for every streams Every year fests , homecoming and many more events are organised which creates memorable experiences

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees are very high and is not affordable to everyone and according to the fees the facilities are not that much good . The food that is provided by the hostel in not good and hygiene. There are many PG near the university but if you know about the locality then only apply for PG

Admission

The admission process is very bad and unacceptable. When I came to this university they told us that only limited seats are available and we have to hurry if we wanted to take admission but after taking admission I get to know that many other students have taken admission. As we have to give exam in the span of one month therefore we don't get sufficient time to prepare for the exams .

Faculty

The faculty - to - students ratio is 1 : 50 . The number of faculties are very low as compared to students . Most of the faculty members have ( Master's or PhD ) degree . The faculty are very supportive and very helpful . The teaching methods are also good.

About TNU 2022

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Kharagpur College is NAAC accredited B++ educational institution of Rail city Kharagpur. I love this college because I'm an ex student of this college. A very good, renowned college of Kharagpur. Many brilliant students passed away from this institution and many poets and writers were also appointed here as teachers, lecturers, part timer etc.

About TNU 2022

I am TANUMOY SAHA, I want to tell you that It will be a better admission process if The criteria are done on a standard AI JEE rank basis or on West Bengal JEE Rank basis. Yes, The Eligibility of Course system is quite optimized & balanced for Bsc courses & specializations on the basis of CBSE percentage criteria, But other than these it would be great if there is a COMMON ENTRANCE TEST in the future for eligibility. We know that This year was not possible due to covid10 but in the mere future This criteria's should be somewhat more Strict for admission process....Read More

Best Private college in West Bengal for BSc (Hons.) Agriculture

My reasons behind choosing The Neotia University are 1. They follow the ICAR pattern 2. In 2019 West Bengal had only 2 private colleges that provide BSc (Hons) Agriculture one is Seacom Skills University and another one is my college The Neotia University. I find TNU better after a campus visit. The campus area is 52 Acres. They have all the required equipment. Also after connecting with few seniors through social media, I came to know that the facilities are really helpful and knowledgeable their teacher methods make this simpler, and being in 2nd year now, I strongly agree with that. 3. They teach all the practical and fieldwork seriously. I gave an online entrance exam which is conducted by the University on their website, got selected.
