Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of my MCA came up to 200000 for both the years the management on the other hand cost 400000, there are scholarships present that you can apply for and all the professors promote you to apply for scholarships as much as possible to avail the benefits of it.
Campus Life
The MCA department has 2 of its own clubs and by default all students are a part of the club and are required to be present during the club actives, along with these we also had sessions where professional SME's from various companies including Google were invited to give us information about the current industry trends, corporate enviornment and the different perks that come along with a corporate life. Other than these activies we also have 2 fest and a ethnic day that are organised yearly, the infrastructure of the university is large enough to occupy 3000 students with students from different courses and all sorts of activies happening in and around college, the news about all of these activies if passed on to us by a mail from the college that consist of all the activities that are being conducted in a week by the different departments, so that all the students are aware of this and can take part in the activies that they are interested in.
Admission
I personally got into CMRIT through PGCET exam that is conducted every year in order to provide aid to students and assist them financially to pursue their masters, the admission process was rather smooth where depending on my ranking I opted for a few college where CMRIT stood out the most to me, upon approaching the college and looking at the curriculum that was provided for MCA and I was ready to choose this college. I was asked to pay the course and the PGCET admission fees on the day I enrolled in college, upon completion of which I was asked to join college the very next day as the classes had already begun and the management did not want me to miss out on the initail few orientations, my ranking was 865 but the Cut-off for cmrit ranges between 1000 and 1100 generally.
