Technology always fascinates me ,and growing up when I had the opportunity to pursue my dreams and help in the technology betterment of the nation I did not let this chance slip away from my hands . Thus started my journey with and around tech. The first year has a wide range of subjects ranging from both computer science and non computer science background. From the second semester onwards the curriculum becomes more centered on the course . The college has designed the cirriculum in an well organised manner. The topics and Lab practicals prepare us for real-life working scenarios. The teachers of the course specially the lab teachers should improve their techniques so that the students can relate more and be productive in the lab classes. In our college for each semester there are 2 exams midsem and end same . The question papers set are moderate

Internships are given to students from 3rd year onwards and the eligibity is same as that of on campus placements . Internships are given to students who have recognizable skill sets and problem solving abilities . I am unable to provide much detail about this internship program as I am currently in 2nd year . The students from 3rd year and above can give proper guidance in this matter. I am unnable to cover this point as I am not egilible for internship and thus have no experience .

In our college the students from 3rd year onwards can take part in campus placements . The companies are TCS , Wipro , Bajaj Alliance , flipkart , cognizant , accenture so on and so forth . Around 150 offers are made. Highest package is 18 LPA. Average package is 1.5 LPA , further the salaries offered depends on the student skills and the positions they are applying for . More or less a student without backlog and with a cgpa from 8-9 gets placement based on their skills in on campus placements . I want to expand my work experience first and then go for my higher studies such as M. Tech

The fees structure of the college varies from course to course and specialization to specialization. The college admission cell at the time of admission gives a detailed brief of the fees amount for each semester for the priod of 4 years . The fees amount varies from semester to semester. The college offers different financial aids to the students helping them in their studies . The different scholarships are SVMCM , Banglar Uchho shiksha . The college reduces a considerable amount of money from the course based on the percentage achieved in the boards such as for 90 to 80 percent in boards 30 percent will be reduced from the total course fees and so on . The college provides wide range of companies and entrepreneurial startup buisness . The SVMCM scholarship offers a yearly stipend of 60000 to the students

The annual and technical fests of our college are JIS Samman, Codefest, and Hackathon, annual fests are celebrated in the months decided by the cultural committee. The library has a large number of books, journals, papers, and research works and it is very easy to take and access the books and read. The library gives a time period of 1 week to return the issued book back to the library. The ambience of the library is quite calm and peaceful. The college has smart boards and projectors in the class. The auditoriums are fully air-conditioned. The classrooms are spacious, well lit and airy. Every year in the month of December the college holds tournaments and matches of various games. The seniors of the computer department have an educational group where they teach additional courses and they also arrange hackathons. The other clubs of our college include singing, dancing, theatre, drama, stand-up comedy etc.

The eligibility of the course is that the students must have PCM the percentage of boards should be above 60 percent. The application form, fees and dates were to be found on the college website itself. no, I have not availed of any reservation benefits. The main exams for eligibility for this course are JEE Main and WBJEE, these exams happen only once a year and the difficulty level is moderate to hard. The college also offers its own exam called JET for student admission. So it's not mandatory for the students to give JEE Mains and WBJEE. After the publication of the counselling results when the students contact the college admission cell for admission enquiry and requirements, the admission cell always creates a state of panic and urges the students to deposit a certain sum of amount of money for seat booking without giving the assurance and guarantee that the students would get their desired streams. This type of havoc from the institution at such critical moments is not at all desirable.
